- Received grants from US embassies in Israel/Palestine, Ecuador, and Mexico to make solo tours throughout each of those countries.
Notable Projects and Contributions
- Taught music in Palestine for over a year.
- Conducted Arabic language guitar classes in the Gaza Strip via live videoconference with support from the Qattan Foundation.
- Organized the first-ever Argentine tango workshop and social dance in Palestine.
- Collaborated with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2011).
- Spearheaded an initiative to expose refugee children to jazz and classical music.
