All competitors are asked to submit a video (via youtube link) in which they perform two contrasting works. Microphone and video camera should be placed approximately 8 feet directly in front of the performer. Please announce your name, the pieces you will perform, and the name of the competition.

Competitors will be split into three divisions: elementary school (5 minute max video length), middle school (7 minute max video length), and high school (10 minute max video length).
Competitors will be judged according to four criteria:
- Sound (overall tone production, tone color changes)
- Musicality (dynamics, phrasing, ability for the music to tell a narrative)
- Technical Proficiency (accuracy and comfortability of notes)
- Overall impression (personality, stage presence, and presentation)
With the permission of competitors (and their parents), winning videos will be made public.
The decision of the judges is final.

Description of Prizes: In addition to cash prizes, select prize winners from each division of the online youth guitar competition will receive a special prize package from Acoustic Guitar magazine. It includes a one year subscription – that’s six issues in both print and digital formats! – plus a download of their e-book, The Classical Guitar Answer Book written by Sharon Isbin. Total value for each prize package is $67.93. Finally, each prize winner will receive Augustine guitar string sets.
